2009-10 Subscription Series

Celebrating 20 years of musical excellence, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra will explore a range of classical favorites, from opera highlights to orchestral showpieces, from youthful creations to late masterworks during the 2009-10 subscription series.

Taken together, the music will allow regular audience members to rediscover what diverse delights can be found within classical music. Moreover, one will find proof of our symphony’s artistry. Barber’s Adagio for Strings has nothing in common with Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, yet our fine players can manage both, and, as we’ll prove, a great deal more.
